Fun story about The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (since they’re remaking it).
When I was around 8 years old, I traded one of my friends some cheap plastic toy telescope for it that was like $3.
I ripped him off REAL good.
I used to like using that glitch where you go to the edge of the screen and press select as you cross over, which put you on the right side of the next screen.
I really fucked the game up a lot with that.
I would skip to the end boss that way, only 1/3 of the way into the game, and always die.
I had to beat the game in an emulator with a save state I downloaded online about 10+ years later.
I wasn’t good at it.
Also, in high school I made a rom hack where I replaced all the dialogue with super stupid Ian-style dialogue.
It didn’t make any sense, all of the dialogue was misaligned/misspelled/just plain stupid or offensive. So, no, I will not upload or share the rom anywhere.
