I was listening to Venomous Concept on the way to work this morning and it made me think back to when I saw them in 2009 at MDF. Kevin Sharp walked past me after they got off stage and I awkwardly asked for a picture with him.
The next day he smashed his microphone on his forehead too many times and broke it during a Brutal Truth set. Super cool guy. I was skinnier and more awkward (surprisingly) back then.
Of the 3 times I went, 2009 was best. Bolt Thrower twice in one weekend!
